Terms and Conditions

1. Tutoring sessions: All tutoring sessions will be conducted online via a virtual classroom platform, such as Zoom, at a pre-agreed upon time. The student is responsible for ensuring that they have a suitable device, internet connection, and an appropriate environment to participate in the tutoring sessions.

2. Fees: Tutoring fees will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of your first session. All fees must be paid in advance by the student via Wise (preferred) or PayPal. 

3. Cancellation policy: If a scheduled tutoring session needs to be rescheduled, it must be done so in advance of the session, usually 24hrs prior to the session start. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the fee being forfeited. (Emergency circumstances will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.) If a lesson is missed due to issues on the tutor side, a replacement lesson will be offered.

4. Conduct: My tutoring sessions insist on the highest standards of professional conduct from both tutor and students. You must not engage in any conduct that is unlawful, offensive or harmful during the tutoring session. Inappropriate behaviour may result in termination of our tutoring agreement.

5. Liability: I take every caution to ensure that our virtual classroom is a safe and secure environment. However, I cannot be held responsible for technical issues, such as the virtual classroom platform, computer viruses or data loss that may occur.

6. Termination: I reserve the right to terminate our tutoring agreement if you violate any of the Terms and Conditions listed here. 

7. Confidentiality: I respect the privacy of my students. All information regarding a student will be kept confidential unless required by law.

8. Intellectual property: All materials produced in the tutoring sessions are the intellectual property of the tutor. All materials provided by the tutor may not be copied, distributed or used for any other purpose without written permission.
