How frequently should
I take lessons?
I recommend 1-2 one-hour lessons or 2-4 thirty-minute lessons per week to ensure consistent progress. However, I am flexible, and would be happy to discuss a suitable lesson schedule based on your availability and learning goals.

What is your teaching approach?

My approach is student-centred, which means I tailor lessons to your learning style, goals, and interests. I encourage an interactive and communicative approach, utilising real-world examples, visual aids, role plays and scenarios. That way, you can learn practical life-based English in a more engaging manner.
3
Can you customise your ESL lessons to meet my specific needs and goals?
Absolutely. Before we begin, we will discuss your goals and needs and create a tailored lesson plan to suit them. This can include pronunciation practice, business English, exam preparation or any other relevant areas.

What teaching materials do you
use for the ESL lessons?
I use a variety of teaching materials including props, practice exercises, textbooks, and various online resources. I also make use of an interactive software which allows me to explore a range of visual effects during the lesson. This not only facilitates clear understanding of new concepts, but also makes lessons more dynamic and engaging.

Can you help me with exam preparation?
Yes, I can. I have experience with exam preparation for TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, EIKEN and other English proficiency exams, such as OET (speaking element). I can coach you to develop strategies for achieving your desired score.

What qualifications do you have to teach English as a second language?
I have a Master's degree in Translation Studies (Merit), a bachelor's degree in International Relations (First), and I am a certified TEFL instructor (Distinction). I also have experience teaching English as a second language for several years, as well as assisting teaching in local British schools.
